9-12-2005: BTM is an official selection in two Kentucky film festivals. The Blugrass Film Festival, in Oldham County, took place Sept 9th-11th and included 70 films. We were able to make the trip and had a great time, and met a lot of great filmmakers. River's Edge Film Festival, in Paducah, took place August 18-21. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make it to Paducah, but we are very proud to have our movie continue to find new audiences.

6-10-2005: BTM won BEST FILM in the FEATURE category last week at the Appy Film Fest!

5-11-2005: BTM SELECTED AS FINALIST IN APPY FILM FESTIVAL! "Beneath the Mask: Portrait of an American Ninja", has been accepted to the Appy Film Festival in Huntington, WV! This festival takes place June 2-4, 2005. BTM is one of FIVE feature length entries accepted to the festival. BTM will play on Saturday, June 4th at 1PM at Cinema Theater on 4th Ave in downtown Huntington, WV! 4-7-2005: BTM ACCEPTED TO LA FILM FESTIVAL! Just moments ago, I discovered that our movie, "Beneath the Mask: Portrait of an American Ninja", has been accepted to the Cheapshot LA film festival in Los Angeles, CA! This festival takes place April 14th-17th, 2005. BTM is one of nine feature length entries accepted to the festival, along with six video art entries, five documentaries, and about 30 short films.

2-7-2005: PREMIERE A SUCCESS! Almost 500 people experienced BTM at our two premieres last week. About 400 showed up for the Thursday showing at the Kentucky Theater, while another 80 or 90 attended the second showing at the University of Kentucky. Everyone seemed to have had a good time, laughing along throughout the movie and giving a standing ovation at the end. If you have any photos from BTM, please contact us at sledge@cubit.net.
